Red Pepper Humus

INGREDIENTS

1 can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas)

Liquid from the can of chickpeas (1/2 cup)

3 tablespoons of tahini

3 garlic cloves peeled

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

1/4th teaspoon of smoked paprika

1/4th teaspoon of cumin

1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional)

1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

DESCRIPTION

This Hummus has a bit of a kick to it! It is great as a dip and as a spread for sandwiches.

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on superhigh until smooth

If you don’t have a high-speed blender like a Vitamix, a food processor will work fine
